The Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works has five main areas of concentration:
Planning and Design | Asset Management | Surveys, Maps, and Records | Construction Management | Consultant Oversight
Through its programs and services, the Engineering Division seeks to improve the quality of life within the City by overseeing maintenance of the existing infrastructure and design and oversight of improvement projects.
Department of Public Works/Municipal Service Building offices at 2026 New Jersey Avenue. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Department of Public Works physical office, located at 2026 New Jersey Ave, will temporarily be closed March 12th through March 14th, 2025, due to minor construction and upgrades.
