With private utility construction nearing completion, road construction on South 11th Street between Union Avenue and Indiana Avenue, and Swift Avenue between South 8th Street and South 14th Street will begin on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The construction includes storm sewer repairs, concrete sidewalk repairs, and new asphalt pavement.
This work will close South 11th Street and Swift Avenue to through traffic. Residences and businesses on South 11th Street and Swift Avenue in the construction area will be accessible using the cross streets.
The South 11th Street and Swift Avenue construction is scheduled to be complete in August.
All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
