A portion of St. Clair Avenue between North 8th Street and North 9th Street will be closed starting Wednesday May 8, 2024, to designate a street space into a temporary public gathering space which will include enhancements such as seating and landscaping. The purpose of the temporary gathering space, or parklet, is to reimage the area, provide pedestrian amenities, and encourage non-motorized transportation while supporting local businesses and enhancing the public space. The parklet will be available until November 15, 2024.
