Road Closures – New York Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue, Niagara Avenue, and Ontario Avenue (North 9th Street to North 10th Street)

Construction to resurface the following streets will begin on Monday, May 1, 2023.

• New York Avenue between North 9th Street and North 10th Street
• Wisconsin Avenue between North 9th Street and North 10th Street
• Niagara Avenue between North 9th Street and North 10th Street
• Ontario Avenue between North 9th Street and North 10th Street

The construction includes sanitary sewer repairs, storm sewer repairs, and new asphalt pavement.

This work will close New York Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue, Niagara Avenue, and Ontario Avenue to through traffic between North 9^th Street and North 10^th Street.

A full street closure will be required on Monday, May 1, 2023 during the pavement milling operation.

The intersection of North 9^th Street and Wisconsin Avenue will also be closed beginning May 1, 2023, for sewer repairs. This closure is expected to be in place for two weeks. A detour will be posted using Niagara Avenue, North 8^th Street, and New Your Avenue.

Construction is anticipated to be complete by the end of May.

All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
