Construction on Wiemann Avenue between Saemann Avenue and Garden Court will begin on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. The closure is necessary for a street construction project that will include the milling of the asphalt pavement, various storm sewer inlet replacements, sidewalk ramp replacement, and asphalt paving of the street surface.
Wiemann Avenue between Saemann Avenue and Garden Court will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Local traffic will continue to have access during the majority of the project. A full street closure will be required on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 during the pavement milling operation and is expected to remain in place for one to two days. Placement of the new asphalt pavement will require a future road closure. A date for this closure has not been scheduled.
The work on Wiemann Avenue is scheduled to be complete in June of 2023.
