Construction on Lincoln Avenue between Barrett Street to North 6th Street will begin on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The construction includes storm sewer repairs, concrete sidewalk repairs, new curb and gutter and new asphalt pavement.
This work will close Lincoln Avenue to through traffic. Residences on Lincoln Avenue in the construction area will be accessible using the cross streets.
The intersection of Lincoln Avenue/Barrett Street/Broughton Drive will be closed to through traffic. The intersection will reopen in early June.
The Lincoln Avenue construction is scheduled to be complete in late June.
All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
