Road closures on Najacht Road between Mill Road and Enterprise Drive will begin on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. This is a joint project between the City of Sheboygan and the Town of Sheboygan. The closure is for a mill and overlay project that includes the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and replacement with new asphalt pavement.
Najacht Road between Mill Road and Enterprise Drive will be closed to through traffic at various times. The first closure, for removal of the existing pavement, will begin on April 27, 2021, and is expected to remain in place for two days. Placement of the new asphalt pavement will require a future road closure, a date for this closure has not been scheduled. Access will be maintained for residents within the construction area.
A detour will be posted using Eisner Avenue, Lakeshore Road, and Enterprise Drive. Access to Mill Road will not be affected during the road closure.
The Najacht Road construction is scheduled to be complete in mid-May.
