Construction on Long Court between North 2nd Street and dead-end will begin on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. The closure is necessary for a street construction project that will include the milling of the concrete pavement, various curb and gutter replacements, and asphalt paving of the street surface.
Long Court between North 2nd Street to the dead-end will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Local traffic will continue to have access during the majority of the project. A full street closure will be required on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 during the pavement milling operation and is expected to remain in place for one day. Placement of the new asphalt pavement will require a future road closure. A date for this closure has not been scheduled.
The work on Long Court is scheduled to be complete in June of 2023.
