Construction on Greenfield Avenue between South 18th Street and South 13th Street will begin on Monday, May 1, 2023. The closure is necessary for a street construction project that will include the milling of the asphalt surface, storm sewer repairs, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and asphalt paving of the street surface.
Greenfield Avenue between South 18th Street and South 13th Street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Local traffic will continue to have access during the majority of the project. A full street closure will be required on Monday, May 1, 2023 during the pavement milling operation and is expected to remain in place for two days. Placement of the new asphalt pavement will require a future road closure, a date for this closure has not been scheduled.
The work on Greenfield Avenue is scheduled to be complete in June of 2023.
