Beginning Tuesday September 19th and continuing through Thursday September 21st, the southbound right lane of S. Taylor Drive will be closed at Crocker Avenue along with the two (2) right turn lanes of S. Taylor Drive at Washington Avenue for construction. This project is to resurface the two (2) right turn lanes at S. Taylor Drive at Washington Avenue.
For the safety of the traveling public and the construction crews; southbound S. Taylor Drive between Crocker Avenue and Washington Avenue will be reduced to one lane for the purpose of southbound through traffic only.
For those needing to enter westbound STH 28, a detour will be in place with the following directions; southbound Taylor Drive to turn east on Crocker Avenue to S. 32nd Street, south on S. 32nd St to Washington Avenue, west on Washington Avenue to westbound STH 28.
The lane closures and detour will be in place through Thursday, September 21st. Construction work is weather dependent. Wet weather may extend completion date.
