GARBAGE / RECYCLING COLLECTION IS ON SCHEDULE TODAY FOR NORMAL THURSDAY CUSTOMERS.

A Winter Storm Warning continues through mid-day Thursday, February 23, 2023. Sleet and minor snow accumulation are anticipated.

While the Department of Public Works plow crews have been out all evening, there remains substantial clean-up throughout the City. Crews began clearing neighborhood streets early this morning. While progress has been good, it will take some time to get to all streets and have them properly cleared.

All of the Departments available equipment and staff will be out today addressing snow related items. This includes plow trucks, loaders, and various smaller snow plows. Priorities will include completing the plowing efforts of all City neighborhood streets, plowing and salting the emergency routes and clearing areas that were not able to be plowed due to parked vehicles.

Please be patient, the Departments plow trucks cannot be everywhere at one time and work to clear all City streets will take some time.
