Construction on South 7th Street between Mead Avenue and Union Avenue will begin on Monday, June 2, 2025. The closure is necessary for a street construction project that will include the milling of the concrete surface, storm sewer repairs, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and asphalt paving of the street surface.
South 7th Street between Union Avenue and Mead Avenue, including the intersection of South 7th Street and Mead Avenue will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Local traffic will continue to have access during the majority of the project. Full street closures will be required for the pavement milling and resurfacing of the street, which will be posted at a later date.
All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
