Road construction on South 18th Street between Washington Avenue and Mead Avenue will begin on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The construction includes storm sewer improvements, new crosswalks at the intersections, and concrete panel replacements.
This work will close South 18th Street to through traffic. Access to local residences in the construction area will be accessible at all times, except when paving operations occur adjacent to a driveway.
The South 18th Street construction is scheduled to be completed in late August.
All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
