Construction on Pennsylvania Avenue between North 5th Street and Broughton Drive will begin on Thursday, July 28th. The closure is for a mill and overlay project that includes the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and replacement with new asphalt pavement.
Pennsylvania Avenue between North 5th Street and Broughton Drive will be closed to through traffic (local traffic only). The start of the closure, for removal of the existing pavement, which will begin on Thursday, July 28th, 2022, and is expected to remain in place for the duration of this project.
A detour will be posted using North 6th Street, Niagara Avenue and Broughton Drive.
The work on Pennsylvania Avenue is scheduled to be complete August 5th.
All work and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
