On Monday, May 4, 2020 construction will begin again on North Avenue. This will require portions of North Avenue to be closed to through traffic. The closures are required to complete the landscaping and tree planting that was not completed last fall.
The current schedule is as follows, but is weather dependent:
- Monday, May 4, 2020, through Friday, May 8, 2020 westbound North Avenue will be closed to though traffic between North 15th Street and North 21st street.
- Monday, May 11, 2020 through Friday, May 15, 2020 eastbound North Avenue will be closed to through traffic between North 21st Street and North 15th Street.
The road closures will be in place from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. A detour will be in place using North 15th Street, Eisner Avenue, and North 21st Street.
The City of Sheboygan understands the inconveniences experienced during road construction and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project. Please use caution and slow down in construction zones.
