Construction on Geele Avenue between North 23rd Street and Calumet Drive will begin Wednesday, June 24, 2020. This is a cooperative project between the City of Sheboygan and the Sheboygan Water Utility with the construction to include water main replacement, lead water service replacement, storm sewer repairs, concrete sidewalk repairs, and new asphalt pavement.
This work will close Geele Avenue to through traffic. Residents and businesses on Geele Avenue in the construction area will be accessible using the cross streets between North 23rd Street and Calumet Drive.
The Geele Avenue construction is scheduled to be complete in September 2020.
