The Department of Public Works is now hiring Seasonal Maintenance Workers for the fall/summer of 2024.
Seasonal staff are employed from spring to fall, working up to 40 hours per week in the areas of Parks and Forestry, Buildings and Grounds, and Cemetery. The normal hours of work are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday – Friday. Workdays and hours may be adjusted for some positions.
Seasonal Maintenance Workers perform a variety of tasks and labor work, as assigned by division supervisors.
College students are encouraged to apply or call before spring break to set up an interview. Retirees are encouraged to apply.
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
