On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation began construction on the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge to complete the concrete staining that was not completed last fall. Due to the weather conditions, this work is taking longer than expected. Therefore, one lane of traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue will continue to be closed in each direction between Commerce Street and Water Street. This work is expected to be complete by Friday, May 29, 2020.
