  • South Taylor Drive (WisDOT/Sheboygan County Project, Union Ave to Erie Ave)
  • S 11th Street (Union Ave to Indiana Ave) / Swift Avenue (S 8th St to S 14th St)
  • Lincoln Avenue (Barrett St to N 6th St)

    Engineering Division Functions

    The Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works has five main areas of concentration:

    Planning and Design | Asset Management | Surveys, Maps, and Records | Construction Management | Consultant Oversight

    Through its programs and services, the Engineering Division seeks to improve the quality of life within the City by overseeing maintenance of the existing infrastructure and design and oversight of improvement projects.

    Location

    Department of Public Works/Municipal Service Building offices at 2026 New Jersey Avenue. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Construction on Lincoln Avenue between Barrett Street to North 6th Street will begin on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

    Road Closures – South 11th Street (Union Avenue to Indiana Avenue) and Swift Avenue (South 8th Street to South 14th Street)

    With private utility construction nearing completion, road construction on South 11th Street between Union Avenue and Indiana Avenue, and Swift Avenue between South 8th Street and South 14th Street will begin on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
