Beginning Thursday, September 24th, Martin Avenue will be closed from North 15th Street to North 18th Street from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for the milling of the road surface prior to the installation of an asphalt overlay. The initial phase of work will be performed by private contractors and the City of Sheboygan will be installing the asphalt overlay. Weather permitting; the work will be completed by October 12th. Please abide by any posted no parking signs and our detour signage. The City of Sheboygan understands the inconveniences experienced during road closures and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project.
The detour will be posted as follows:
From the south, north on North 15th Street to North Avenue, west on North Avenue to Calumet Drive, south on Calumet Drive back to Martin Avenue.
From the north, west on North Avenue at North 15th Street to Calumet Drive, South on Calumet Drive back to Martin Avenue.
