On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin construction on the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge to complete the concrete staining that was not completed last fall. This will require one lane of traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue to be closed in each direction between Commerce Street and Water Street. Traffic will still be allowed to cross the bridge.
The work on the bridge is expected to be completed by Thursday, May 21, 2020, but is weather dependent.
